EAs well as the challenges of project management, during 2020, the rollout of initiatives under the #RECONECTA program involved very careful coordination with the organization’s agile transformation process. This enabled the Project Office to identify the times when any agile unit collected the work developed as part of an initiative and consequently, delivered the project.

Thirteen initiatives were launched during the year with the main focus on investing in alignment, strengthening the competitive position, improving customer relations, and having an operating model based on excellence.

Agility

Telefónica Movistar Colombia has been working for more than three years under the agility model. During 2020, the Company proposed the agile transformation process, which was undoubtedly the Company’s most ambitious process in recent years. Therefore, it ended the year with 45% of the organization transformed, achieving a total of 78 active cells already working with agility, which means eight operating trains and three Centers of Excellence (CoE) in operation, and with this, 2,172 employees trained in The New Telefonica Way.
