About this Report

Colombia Telecomunicaciones S.A. ESP BIC prepares the Responsible Management Report to inform its stakeholders about its financial and non-financial management during the previous year. This report accounts for the Company’s results from January to December 2021 and presents its economic, environmental, social and governance (ESG) management. Additionally, some chapters refer explicitly to the information of other companies that form part of Grupo Telefónica and that operate in Colombia, such as Wayra and Fundación Telefónica Movistar, and whose results are not included in the financial statements.

The report intends to comply with articles 46, 47 (amended by article 1 of Law 603/2000) and 446 of Law 222/1995 (Colombian Code of Commerce), and article 87 of Law 1876/2013. This report has also been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards: Core Option, with the aim of fulfilling the commitments acquired through Law 1901/2019, Decree 2046/2019 and Resolution 200-004394 of the Companies Superintendence, by having acquired the legal status of BIC Company.

This Report takes into consideration the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate- Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), as well as those provided in the Guide for Preparation of ESG Reports for Colombian issuers, and reports on the Company’s performance in connection with the Principles of the Global Compact, through its Progress Report; and on its contributions to the 2030 Agenda through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the results of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) selected for sustainability loan agreements entered into with banks.

Throughout this report you will find conventions associated to management of the BIC activities prioritized by the Company, as well as the letters E, S, G and the sustainability indicators related to the loans. Additionally, Annex I provides details on the process for preparing this document.
