Colombia Telecomunicaciones S.A. ESP BIC has prepared
this report in accordance with the GRI Standards for the
period from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022,
aligned with the commitments acquired in the framework
of Law 1901 of 2019, Decree 2046 of 2019, and Resolution
200-004394 of the Superintendence of Companies, having
adopted the legal status of a Benefit and Collective
Interest Company (BIC).
This Report discloses to stakeholders the financial management (Economic management) and nonfinancial management (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance – ESG) and complies with articles 46, 47 (amended by article 1 of Law 603 of 2000) and 446 of Law 222 of 1995 (Colombian Code of Commerce), and article 87 of Law 1876 of 2013.
Some chapters refer explicitly to the information from
other companies that are part of the Telefónica Group
and that operate in Colombia, such as Fundación
Telefónica Colombia and Wayra, whose results are not
included in the financial statements. This report adopts
the recommendations given in the ESG Reporting
Guidelines for Issuers in Colombia and reports on the
Company’s performance in connection with the Principles
of the Global Compact, through its Progress Report; as
well as the contribution to the 2030 Agenda through the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the results of
the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) selected for
performance-related loans for sustainability indicators
entered into with banks.
Although the Report includes a chapter for each dimension of sustainability (ESG), some issues are crosscutting to several of them. Throughout this Report, you will find conventions associated with the management of BIC Society activities prioritized by the Company and the sustainability indicators linked to the loans. In addition, Annex I provides details of the process for preparing this document.
